The HNEC Chairman, Dr. Emad Al-Sayah, during his second regular meeting, held on Sunday, at HNEC’s Headquarters in Tripoli, with the Heads of the Departments and Offices, checked and followed up the readiness of the Departments and Offices to implement the upcoming elections.
The meeting which was chaired by HNEC Chairman, Dr. Emad Al-Sayah, in the presence of the Commissioner, Mr. Adbulhakim Al-Shaab, and the Director General, Dr. Yahya Al-Jadeed, addressed the requirements of the stages, leading up to the polling day and early preparation for the elections. They also reviewed the programs of the training and awareness activities that should start when elections get closer.

The headquarters of the High National Elections Commission witnessed on Monday and Tuesday, in the presence of the Director General, Dr. Yahya Al-Jadeed, the launch of the training activity titled “Introduction to the Stages of the Electoral Process”, supervised by the Operations Department of the HNEC in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
In his opening speech, the Director General indicated that this training activity, which targets the employees of the Commission in their various specializations, comes within the framework of qualifying and capacity building of the professional workforce in preparation for the implementation of the next electoral event, and to maximize the extent of the capacity building potential that the Commission pursues to achieve in its general plan.

The Headquarters of the High National Elections Commission in Tripoli witnessed, on Wednesday, the conclusion of a training workshop carried out by the Public Outreach & External Relations Department in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) under the title of “The Ally”.
The three-day workshop covered, with the participation of the Heads of Departments and Offices of HNEC, the comprehension of the characteristics of a good leader, and how women should be involved in leadership roles and gender participation in achieving career leadership and creating a healthy professional environment free of obstacles.
The closing day included training activities carried out by the participants that summarized the general program of the workshop, as well as the distribution of certificates to the participants and a closing speech for this occasion, in the presence of the Director General of the Commission, Dr. Yahya Al-Jadeed.
