A vigil was held in south Minneapolis Saturday for a young woman that family have identified as the victim of a homicide reported on Friday.
Police discovered the body of a woman during a welfare check in the 3000 block of 18th Avenue South Friday afternoon, saying her death appeared to have been from unnatural causes.
Family have identified the victim as 19-year-old Yadhira Romero Martínez, who according to FOX 9 lived in a home less than a block away from the property where her body was found.
