The parents of a 14-year-old boy, Mubarak, who was said to have been killed by a stray bullet on November 4, 2021, at the Command bus stop in the Meiran area of Lagos State, have accused the police of abandoning the corpse of their child in the mortuary.
Two years after a 14-year-old boy, Mubarak Sanyaolu, was killed by a police stray bullet during a protest against extortion by policemen at Command bus stop, Meiran in Lagos State, the family of the deceased has lamented that his body is still in the mortuary. According to the family, Mubarak’s remains are still in Yaba Mainland Hospital while there has not been justice for him nor compensation for the family.
