Liu Xiaofeng introduced that so far, a total of 50 infected people have been reported in the Changping campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, a total of 18 cases have been reported in the Middle School Affiliated to Minzu University of China, and a total of 28 cases have been reported by the Communication University of China. He said that the clustered outbreaks at the Changping Campus of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the Middle School Affiliated to Minzu University of China are stable and in the final stage, and the clustered outbreaks at Communication University of China are generally under control.
The risk of spillover cases into the community from the latest three campus-related flare-ups in Beijing are controllable as their origins are clear, local authorities announced on Monday, saying that sealing off measures will be gradually eased in those universities.
