徐旭東今在股東會上對於另外兩雄發表「意見」，他認為，電信獲利就要純粹，不該零售百貨都納入，言下之意，就是指台灣大的獲利強大動能一部分是來自於電商momo。
不僅如此，對於5G頻譜位置，徐旭東也有話要說，他強調整條魚都可以吃，如果消費者喜歡吃魚尾，就去選魚尾，但魚肚才是最好吃的，「聰明的消費者就要挑頻譜位置，頻譜就像DNA好的部位就是一輩子的」，顯然對於自家當初砸重金標下的頻譜相當自豪。
電信龍頭中華電也難逃徐旭東大砲攻勢，由於中華電前天甫公布自家在網速測試Speedtest報告中，奪下5G網速、行動涵蓋第一，徐旭東卻說：「遠傳去年就上榜Speedtest，當時其他幾家在哪裡我也搞不懂，不過後來居上要給他拍拍手」！
