The Xinsheng restaurant said that it was aware of the possibility of a confirmed case on Thursday, so it closed Friday and had all employees tested for the virus, CNA reported. It then resumed operations on Saturday. However, after the eatery was notified of the diagnosed employee, it decided to close for three days until July 20.

Taipei, July 18 (CNA) Renowned Taiwanese steamed dumpling restaurant chain Din Tai Fung on Sunday announced the temporary closure of its Xinsheng Branch in Taipei through July 20, after one of its employees there was confirmed to have contracted COVID-19.
The patient was responsible for food packing and had limited interaction with customers, according to the health department of the capital city.
The Xinsheng Branch suspended operation and had all its employees take a PCR test on July 16, after learning the previous day that a customer who was tested positive for COVID-19 had visited the restaurant. The branch reopened on July 17.
