HAVANA, July 10 (Xinhua) Cuba s Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday a new series of sanitary measures for Cubans traveling in the country, which will enter into force on July 15 with the aim of containing the spread of COVID-19.
The new restrictions will apply to Cubans arriving at the airports of the tourist areas of Varadero and Cayo Coco, where they will have to go through a mandatory 14-day isolation in hotel facilities, and afterwards they will be unable to leave the tourism areas.
Additionally, for Cuban travelers arriving at these two airports, luggage restrictions have also been applied, with each passenger allotted a single piece.

HAVANA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) Cuba s Ministry of Public Health reported on Friday 845 COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing to 31,190 total confirmed cases, as well as four deaths in the same period, for a total of 229.
In the first four days of February, the Caribbean nation recorded 3,598 infections, a figure close to December, confirming the sustained increase in the number of cases over the past few days.
