“Belarusian head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay a state visit to Beijing on 28 February- 2 March at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold friendly meetings and talks with the Chinese leadership,” the diplomat said.
The areas of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation include politics, economy and trade, agriculture, humanitarian cooperation, science and technology, defense, justice, law enforcement, security, disaster prevention and mitigation, emergency rescue operations, environmental protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, transport, customs, interregional contacts.
“After the outbreak of COVID-19, China and Belarus have been helping each other and fighting the pandemic hand in hand. On the personal instructions of Aleksandr Lukashenko, a humanitarian cargo to combat the pandemic was sent to China by military aircraft two times,” the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission said.
“Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations on 20 January 1992, China and Belarus have passed a 31-year mark of friendly cooperation. These 31 years have witnessed many momentous events for the bilateral cooperation,” the diplomat said.
