WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - Prosecutors detailed the injuries a 3-year-old suffered when a woman allegedly stabbed him during a Warren County court hearing on Monday.
Xiaoyan Zhu is being held on a $1 million bond following the March 4 stabbing.
Zhu used a ceramic knife to stab the boy as he walked with his older sibling to a bus stop in the Charleston Park subdivision in Deerfield Township, court documents read.

A Deerfield Township woman accused of stabbing her 3-year-old neighbor faced a judge Thursday for the first time since the alleged attack.Xiaoyan Zhu is charged with felonious assault for the March 4 incident.Defense attorney Nick Graman entered a not guilty plea on Zhu s behalf. A woman accused of stabbing a 3-year-old boy who lived next door to her home was arraigned Thursday afternoon in Mason Municipal Court where she entered a not guilty plea.
Xiaoyan Zhu, 46, in Deerfield Twp. had been hospitalized and under evaluation since March 4 when she allegedly stabbed the child with a ceramic knife, according to the Warren County Sheriffâs Office. She was booked Wednesday afternoon into the Warren County Jail.
Judge D. Andrew Batsche set bond at $1 million cash or surety and set a preliminary hearing for 2 p.m. April 15, according to court records.
