KAZINFORM - On May 30, Astana hosted the 10th meeting of the Kazakh-Spanish Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Cooperation in Economy and Industry, co-chaired by Kazakh Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebayev and the Secretary of State for Trade at the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Xiana Margarida Méndez Bértolo. The sides noted bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Spain surpassed pre-pandemic levels, increasing by 41.7 percent and reaching 2.5 billion euros ($2.6 billion) in 2022.
