Overwatch 2021 Lunar New Year Event Kicks Off Today Feb 4, 2021 14:00 EST
The latest Overwatch Lunar New Year event, Year of the Ox, is kicking off today. That means a whole new set of skins, a brand new brawl, and all kinds of other goodies to look forward to. The annual seasonal event always has plenty to offer players of all kinds, and this year is no different.
One of the biggest additions Overwatch gets this year is the new Brawl, Bounty Hunter. The player who scores the first kill of the match becomes a Target, and everyone else becomes a Bounty Hunter. When whoever held the Target position is taken out, the player who dealt the death blow will be the new Target instead. This Brawl will remain as part of the regular Arcade rotation even when the Lunar New Year event ends.
Another Lunar New Year, Another Overwatch Event
Blizzard Entertainment’s annual Lunar New Year event for Overwatch has officially begun this year, bringing with it the year of the Ox. Just like any other Lunar New Year event, this year’s content includes new skins, a brand new brawl, and much more. Weekly rewards will give Overwatch more opportunities to unlock the new cosmetics between now and February 25th. Overwatch is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC.
Year of the Ox brings tons of new goodies to Overwatch, including the Bull Demon Orisa, Tiger Huntress Ashe, Dragonfire Bastion, Kkachi Echo, and Pale Serpent Widowmaker Legendary Skins. The Epic skins are slightly less impressive but there are three that will be offered through weekly challenges. Week one offers Terracotta Medic Baptiste, week two offers Xiake McCree, and week 3 offers Imperial Guard Reaper.
