Dillaplain honored by OSBA Dillaplain XENIA Paul Dillaplain takes his spot on the Xenia Community School District Board of Education seriously. He’s so laser-focused on learning and improving that the Ohio School Boards Association named Dillaplain as a recipient of the prestigious 2021 OSBA Training Award, an inaugural award that is part of its new STAR Awards Program. The OSBA Training Award is presented to a select group as only 14 of the more than 3,400 board members in Ohio will receive the honor in 2021. “Being a board member is not just attending board meetings,” Dillaplain said. “Rather, board members are the elected link between the district and its citizens. As the policy and decision makers of Xenia Community Schools, board members must expand their background knowledge of school governance for the district to succeed.”
