National Signing Day has lost a bit of its luster since the inception of the early signing period and the UAB football program has made a habit of wrapping up its recruiting classes with little to no suspense on the unofficial end to the college football season.
Staying true to recent tradition, UAB announced the signing of four additional players Wednesday to its 2021 signing class, and with room to grow.

UAB announced the signing of 10 players Wednesday to open the NCAA early signing period.
“We are extremely pleased with the talent we added to our roster today,” UAB head coach Bill Clark said. “This class will play a major role in helping our program continue winning championships. I am especially appreciative of our coaching staff who worked through unusual and unprecedented times to sign this tremendous class.”
The Blazers signed nine prep prospects and one junior college player but are expected to sign a few more players before the signing period ends.
