Xaghra has commemorated the two victories of Malta - 1565 and 1943, during a ceremony which took place on Wednesday in the main square.
Following the Mass there were reenactments with the participation of locals, by the Xaghra Historical Re-enactment Organisation, of the Great Siege of Malta 1565
Tomorrow, Gozo will be commemorating the 104th anniversary of the events of Sette Giugno, during a ceremony in Xaghra to mark the 7th of June 1919 riots.
