Thursday s Impact Wrestling will serve as the go-home show for Saturday s Slammiversary pay-per-view, an event that could see the debut of several new and returning faces.
In what s being called a Battle of the Hosses, Joe Doering will take on Doc Gallows, Fallah Bahh and Willie Mack in a four-way preview of Saturday s Tag Team Title match. Last week, Karl Anderson, Rich Swann, TJP and Deaner had their own four-way with Anderson coming out on top.
In a preview of the Ultimate X-match Saturday, X-Division Champion Josh Alexander will team with Trey Miguel, Petey Williams and Chris Bey to battle Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Rohit Raju and Shera.

Impact Wrestling’s X-Division Champion Josh Alexander has spoken out on his thoughts about his Ultimate X match at this Saturday’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event.
Alexander has revealed that he wants to create a legacy as X-Division Champion. And, that he believes that the Ultimate X match will be the next step in this process. );
“In the sense of the match booking I have the most to lose of everybody in it but I also have what I think is the most to gain in terms of the thing I set out for since I won the X-Division championship at Rebellion. In this week s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer had some notes on Impact Wrestling including the return of a former Knockouts Champion, the future for Josh Alexander and Moose and getting out of Nashville, TN, for a while.
Meltzer noted that a story was going around that Moose had received a main roster offer from WWE, but turned it down to stay in Impact. He said there were talks as Moose s deal was running out, but the WWE offer would be NXT first and not one where he would go right to the main roster.
Meltzer said that former Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green has been heavily talked about as returning to the company with her even hinting on social media about bringing back her old Laurel Van Ness character. Green was released from WWE in April and was last in Impact in 2018.
