weather warmed up, tucker, and temperatures warming up again today. not bad. temperatures in the low to mid- 40s. it should be a great looking afternoon as we ll see the sunshine build in and high temperatures back into the low 50s. so a nice looking forecast for the holiday. let s get a start with a look at our current temperatures. we ll look at our satellite radar on our view system. there you go. satellite radar and you can see that across the area that our area of low pressure that was responsible for the rain yesterday is off to the north and east and sort of a mix of sun and clouds across the mid- atlantic. the trend will be to decrease the cloudiness and in crease the sunshine throughout the day. not a whole lot of cool air behind the syem and that will help hold the temperatures up into the low 40s and 50s this afternoon. a wind out of the north and west at 15 miles per hour so it will feel cooler than that. so bring along a jack fet you re headed out this morning.
