Heavy snow came down over Stroud and Gloucestershire last weekend and residents were quick to make the most of the change of pace to lockdown life. Families made their way to the hills for sledging, to Minchinhampton and Rodborough Common for walks, and, most importantly, built a whole host of spectacular snowmen. We ve put together some of our favourite snow sculptures, some of which give Michelangelo a run for his money. Steve Hinder created this mammoth snowman in Bussage, which we think is reminiscient of the Fat Controller from Thomas the Tank Engine. This snow angel was put together by Daniel Feltham and his daughter Ebony.
