completely inappropriate and unprecedented behavior in this administration. i mean you look at it s not just pruitt. pruitt is at the end of a long line of people who have had ethical issues. up until now, we have seen republicans simply turn the other way. so i think it is an important step to actually investigate this. it s obscene the actions that pruitt has engaged in. and really fundamentally looking at this entire situation and the multiple people, public service is a privilege. it is not an opportunity for you to enrich yourself and live high off the hog on the backs of the american people. so i hope a thorough investigation will be done and there will actually be some consequences and accountability for these actions. last word to you, lauren. do you think there will be accountability? well, i hope so. i think the reason the president is standing by scott pruitt at this point is he knows it would be difficult to confirm another epa administrator in this xli .
