hey, and thanks so much for joining us on kron. 4 news at noon. i m stephanie lin, san francisco dha. somebody in one of the most progressive prosecutors in the country is out of a job after a rare recall election during his time in office since january. twenty-twenty booting faced an onslaught of criticism over his criminal justice policies amid a wave of violent crime in the city. the group safer dean led the effort to get to the lead, the effort to an out of office arguing he was too soft on crime and did not make public safety a priority in a concession speech. but did not appear to address those criticisms, pointing the finger at, quote, right wing billionaires for funding the recall. i heard a righteous outrage from people who are frustrated with 2 years of pandemic were frustrated with corruption. yeah, it s it s all you we re sick and tired of living their lives in masks and behind closed doors and having a city that fails to deliver on some of its core promises.
