Mail all week. Pete williams just a few moments ago reporting that a person has been taken into custody at this point, a person were told perhaps in his 50s taken into custody in florida for questioning in connection with the mail bombs that have been sent to prominent americans all over this country over the past few days. Details as to this persons connection right now, those Details Remain unclear. This coming as two more explosive devices were discovered today, a total of 12 devices have now been sent, 12 explosive devices. Today one package found at a new york postal facility on the west side of manhattan. That one was addressed to former director of national
intelligence James Clapper. The other intercepted in florida. That one was addressed to new jersey democrat cory booker. All of these devic
be brought before a federal judge for what we call an initial appearance. at some point if they have the right person, and i presume they do, federal prosecutors will present the case to a grand jury for an indictment. as we re having this conversation, we continue to watch this white van covered in a blue tarp now. this has actually all happened fairly quickly over the past five, ten minutes. law enforcement officials appear to be working to secure that tarp to the van. our local affiliate there, wtvj reporting that this van belongs to the suspect, also reporting that the van is covered in bumper stickers, covered in trump paraphernalia, if you will, including stickers of the presidential seal. again, it would appear as if this van is now going to be towed away and become a part of this investigation. pete williams, our justice correspondent watching all of
the bear. then just as a group of people in a second car stopped to offer help a third car struck the vehicle that hit the bear killing three people. eight people were taken to the hospital in fort lauderdale four by emergency evacuation el helicopters. it is estimated there are more than 3,000 in the state. that was wtvj reporting. five of the injured have been released from the hospital. three others are still treated.
