took place and gunfire that erupted as police descended on this neighborhood to try to apprehend the three or four or possibly five suspects related to terror attacks in paris, france, friday. among them, they were looking for the man believed to be the mastermind or operating commander. that would be abdelhamid abaaoud and also salah, who is actually one of the other people actually in french custody, able to flee there. they let him slip through their fingers and looking for him again when french police accidentally permitted him to cross into belgium saturday and we know one of his brothers blew himself up in paris and his family wanted to disown him
right there in that neighborhood. one woman has been killed. she was wearing a suicide belt. an innocent passerby was killed. another man believed to be a suspect was taken out by a police sniper. so what we re seeing right now is police are still trying to make sure that they get those who are responsible. it had been widely reported they might have been looking for the mastermind of the friday the 13th attacks. this entire area has been shut down as this police intervention unfolds and continues, schools have been closed, public buildings have been closed, the people of paris, france, once again, waking up to the shocking reality that terror is at their doorstep. but they re comforted in knowing now that police are after those who might be responsible.
