40-year-old Banbury area man is fined for assaulting two police officers at a Wallingford hotel

Updated Oxford Magistrates Court where cases from the Banbury area are heard Graeme Voce, 40, of Ivy Lane, Shutford pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates Court to assaulting the officers at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel, Wallingford on April 3. He was fined £400 for each offence and ordered to pay £50 compensation in each case. Voce was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and court costs of £85. The following cases were also heard at Oxford Magistrates’ Court: Reneya Chadbone, 18, of George Street, Banbury pleaded guilty to damaging a wall in Barton, Oxfordshire on August 6, 2020 and to damage of a cell wall at Abingdon on August 7, 2020. The defendant pleaded guilty to two counts of assault of police officers and an assault against a detention officer on the same day. Chadbone also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
