Floyd, IA – The year 2020 was a challenge for lots of area businesses, but especially for Wrightz Auction in Floyd.
Just as their auction season was about to start, so did the season of COVID-19. Owner Scott Wright talked about the decisions he had to make and the challenges they faced.
Wrightz Aucrion, formerly known as Gilbert’s Sale Yard, has been owned by Wright for five years. Out of respect to former owner Randy Gilbert, Wright chose to keep the name of the business as Gilberts Sale Yard, until last year. That also proved to be a bit of a challenge for Wright.
