Wrightstown falls in Division 3 semifinals

By Jim Scott Mar 5, 2021 12:39 PM (WNFL) – The Wrightstown Tigers dreams of bringing home a state championship ended in the WIAA Division 3 boys basketball semifinals Friday as they lost to Racine St. Catherine’s 53-44. The Tigers led 8-6 with 13:05 left in the first half on a 3-pointer by Matthew Hansen but that would be their last lead. The Angels went ahead to stay less than 30 seconds later on a 3-pointer by Jameer Barker. Wrightstown was able to hang tough with the Angels with St. Catherine’s biggest lead being only 9 points. Wrightstown shot just 31 percent overall and made only 5-of-24 3-pointers.
