Long time Duluth resident, p assed away on Thanksgiving, November 23, 2023 at age 101 at Edgewood Vista. Ken was born to Ernest and Alma (Washnesky) Weber on May 14, 1922. At age 6 he moved to the family farm in Wrenshall and graduated from Wrenshall High School. After several years working on the farm he moved to Duluth where he met his future wife, Virginia Palmer, where they both worked at Griggs, Cooper and Co. Ken and Virginia had two children and were married over 57 years, until her death in 2005. Ken worked for many years as a member of the Retail Clerks Union, retiring from London Road Liquor. After raising their family in the Lester Park area, Ken and Ginny traveled extensively throughout the country to fulfill Ken’s passion for driving and seeing new places. Ken was a spirited fan of Minnesota Sports teams, especially the Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves. Other favorite activities include: league bowling, daily coffee with the boys at Bulldog, and family get togethers. Ken�
