constitutional duty of impartiality and he talks about the oath of office. so, julian, is this holiday season going to serve as time for some of these lawmakers to either reconsider, reassess, hear from their constituents? might it actually change any of their thinking on their strategy moving forward in this impeachment? i wouldn t bet any money on that. i think the fact that this is coming from senator flake who s been very eloquent, but when he was in office he didn t really cause many problems for the president and ultimately was pretty loyal to the administration is very telling. and i think at this point in 2019/20, we see where the republican party is. this is about preserving partisan power and they are not budging from that position. so flake might be right about the long term but that s not how senate republicans see it. they re not going to go back to their states and change their position. and i expect there won t be a
he has a douglas plan for black americans and then there was a controversy about the fact they said black people endorsed it and they in fact did not endorse the plan. so i think the polling right now is very fluid and if everybody remembers the name gary heart, i wouldn t bet on anybody in this race right now. the difference between these two candidates is more than any candidate i ve seen elizabeth warren is running an agenda. she had a lot of plans, i ve got a plan for everything. buttigieg is running himself. it s a different way of running this campaign. i will point out one is a man and one is a woman and that matters in this case. women can t show up and be praised just based on the potential that you see in them, and i think that is one of the dynamics at play with mayor pete. and i do very much like him and think he s a great candidate, however, julian castro and cory
forever. it s like a wall. he can hide behind there and it works. the first time we used it, it was beautiful. one of my teammates said spike the ball. i did that. it was my first touchdown in my first year playing football. it was probably one of the greatest feeling i had in my life. reporter: if you think that s the end of his touchdowns. he said he wants to throw a touchdown pass this season. i wouldn t bet against him. jon: that s how fox reports on this sunday, september 29. i m jon scott. thanks for see being here.
republican member of congress will come forward in the next month in favor of impeachment would you take that bet? some of the things that amash talked about people who have spoken to him privately, i know people have concerns. i have a feeling that the political concerns will override legal concerns. no. i wouldn t bet on that. congressman, as someone you voted against the president in the two years you overlap with him in office. you have spoken out against him. if you were in congress now would you support impeachment proceedings? my thinking on that is i was critical of the president when he was in office and out. i think impeachment is not a great issue. so that s a no? i would be hesitant at this moment. i think congress has to do its due diligence, call witnesses, hear from mueller directly. this business about mueller
this moment, fred, safe to say that capitol hill is stuck in a holding pattern similar to what jessica described over at doj, just waiting for the details from the attorney general. fred. thank you so much. joining me right now, former federal prosecutor and cnn s legal analyst san woo, cnn white house correspondent kaitlan collins, and cnn s carissa now. this is something else, we haven t heard a word from the president. does this mean the team in mar-a-lago have seized his blackberry? i wouldn t bet on that but we do know the president is golfing right now. we knew he was at the golf course. we have video of him from one of our star photographers who saw the president actually golfing out op tn the links this mornin and the president has not said anything about this yet since yesterday when em mitt flood, one of his attorneys in palm
