dressed up like this with helmets. brought their bikes with them. and they came across the border trying to blend in with the morning exercise crowd here. the group of them were arrested and now in federal custody. the pursuit. look at this decks as dps dash kam video. a large group of immigrants bailing out of a vehicle being chased by texas dps and run off into the brush. the driver doesn t stop. she floors it and keeps going. the driver eventually loses control and crashes. she goes bailing out running off into the brush. troopers go after her and you might notice in the vehicle she keeps reaching for her waistband. the trooper takes her down and keeps reaching for her waistband and you will see in the video the trooper finds that woman had a gun on her that was hidden inside of her waistband the entire time. she was arrested and charged

island getting a request to raise thousands of dollars to help pay off a human trafficker who recently smuggled one of their students into the country illegally. bryan llenas has that story. good morning. migrants pay thousands of dollars to coyotes or human traffickers to take that across the border in the u.s. families take dangerous loans from cartels putting their homes up for collateral and risking lives to pay off coyotes who they are then indebted to. assistant principal in rhode island is now under investigation for soliciting donations from school staff members the pay off a coyote who supposedly brought one of the school s students to the u.s. in an email to staff the assistant principal wrote we have a student who came to america with coyote which is a group that helps people. she went on to write our student needs our urgent support to raise another $2 thousand to meet his goal of $5 thousand by
february 1, 2023. a subsequent email from the principal retracted that email writing the nature of the request is not appropriate. all funds contributed will be returned and we will seek more appropriate methods to support our students. during an interview with a local radio station, the president of the providence teachers union said she never has seen anything like this in 30 years. this is an extremely serious issue and she is surprised the assistant principal wouldn t know coyote isn t a group that helps people but human traffickers who prey on the vulnerable. we ve asked whether law enforcement has been contacted and haven t heard back. the providence school district said the emails are real and the district in investigating. dana: a major flip-flop in senator elizabeth warren now backing vice president kamala
