Online World Rowing Indoor Championships set to begin Monday, 22 February 2021
The World Rowing Indoor Championships, which are being held remotely in light of the coronavirus pandemic, begin tomorrow.
Men s and women s PR1 2,000 metres races are due to begin the event at 12:05pm CET.
Tomorrow s schedule is dominated by Para-rowing and masters contests, although there will be men s and women s lightweight 2,000m finals later in the day.
Races are also scheduled on Wednesday (February 24) and Saturday (February 27), and will be streamed on the World Rowing
YouTube channel.
Regional qualifiers were held in advance of the World Championships, and a total of 935 athletes from 63 nations qualified.
