country over party? totally melted down. i appreciate it. thanks very much. there is more breaking news tonight. just a few minutes ago, defense secretary mark esper announced the president is sending additional u.s. forces to saudi arabia and the united arab emirates. barbara starr is at the pentagon tonight with more. what do we know about the deployment? reporter: this is came as soon as esper and dunford left the white house. they came here back to the pentagon and talked to reporters, saying that the decision has been made. there will be a deployment of u.s. troops and air and missile defense systems to saudi arabia and the united arab emirates. as far as saudi arabia goes, of course, it s at the request of the kingdom after that iranian believed to be iranian attack on their oil facilities that was so devastating, that did impact world oil markets. the pentagon said the weapons were of iranian origin. what this tells us is now they
