The Salisbury Foodbank with the help of a local business have been delivering Easter hampers for families in need. Ninety two families have been supported, equating to more than 380 children and adults, and the contents should do much to help lift spirits at this holiday time. As well as basic food items the boxes contain a number of goodies – with up to four Easter eggs included. The food distributed amounted to nearly 2.5 tonnes and this latest initiative has come at the end of what has been the busiest year start for the foodbank ever. The Easter campaign is another example of the Salisbury community coming together to provide help for those who need it.
