We spoke with marin county fire, the First Responders to the scene regarding this tragic accident where three lives were lost. Want to show you the video. This car is literally split in half when this accident took place. Marin fire is telling us that happened around 12 00 a. M. But they got the 911 call from an offduty park ranger about a car accident in this area west of samuel p. Taylor state park. When they arrived on the scene alongside chp and the Marin County Sheriffs Department they found this 2013 Toyota Corolla snapped in half. There were three young males inside who were deceased. The car also pit a power pole and knocked down a couple of trees. The worker was killed at a Grocery Store and less than an hour ago, police found the truck. Reporter investigators are on the scene here, and oakhand Police Officers spotted that suspect vehicle after a bulletin was sent out to other Police Departments with still images taken from surveillance video. Some wooden palettes were spotted in the bed of the truck. Now, the driver has been detained and some coworkers say the man was trying to protect the business when he was killed. Police say an employee of through world foods may have been kill forward trying to stop a crime. Witnesses told investigators a man in a truck purposely ran down their coworker who confronted for stealing a stack of wooden palettes. Wooden pallets is hauled away with evidence where it was spotted by Oakland Police officers hours after the truck was involved in a deadly hitandrun. We know we have located the vehicle responsible for todays homicide. You saw that truck over there. When we saw the guns we knew it had to be something serious.
