AEW Dynamite Results for February 3, 2021
Jericho accidentally eliminates Sammy, and now he and MJF are number 1 contenders. );

– Tony Schiavone in the ring where he introduces AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin and Sting. Tony announces Allin is defending his title next week against Joey Janela. Team Taz shows up on the big screen. Taz says they are stuck outside tonight because they took out some staffers, but next week they will be watching closely. );
Starks talks some trash about their upcoming Street Fight. Back to the ring, Sting takes the mic, says he’ll be around next week, as well, to make sure it’s a one-on-one match. He tells Starks that when he looks into Sting’s eyes, he does see the same man anymore? Maybe he should take a closer look! Both wrestlers head to the back.

Teams are already surrounding the ring as the show gets started. We see a few entrances, including the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks. Matt and Nick flip off the stage to get things going. Matt and Nick then get into the ring and take out anyone who get in the ring with them. More wrestlers filter in though as everyone starts swinging away. Private Party sends Dante of Top Flight out first. Reynolds battles Hag

Two weeks after announcing the AEW Women s World Championship Eliminator Tournament to determine the #1 contender, we finally have a full list of entrants, along with confirmation the tournament will have a US side and a Japan side. There s still a lot we don t know (When will the tournament start? Where will it be broadcast? Is this title shot for Revolution or sometime afterwards?) but at the very least, we can look at who all is in the tournament, check out their past and present, and see if an AEW Women s World Championship shot is in their future.

Hey remember last month, when I was like oh hey, the women s division is on an upswing, I sure hope this momentum continues instead of petering out immediately ? How I wanted the division to continue to get stories instead of the ones they set up ending and then everything going back to a random meaningless jumble with no clear challenger for the championship?
