LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp was part of the 28-player training camp roster announced today for the U.S. baseball team that will attempt to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
The 36-year-old Kemp most recently played for the Colorado Rockies, hitting .239 with six home runs and 21 RBIs in 43 games in 2020. He played for the Dodgers from 2006-14 and 2018. Kemp is seventh in Dodger history with 203 home runs and 10th in extra-base hits with 476.
The roster also includes two other former Dodgers, infielder Logan Forsythe, who played for them in 2017 and 2018, and catcher Tim Federowicz, who played for them 2011-2014 and now plays for their Oklahoma City Triple-A affiliate.
