Fort Dodge was pummeled by heavy rains Tuesday afternoon that left multiple intersections submerged and forced the closure of a couple bridges. No injuries
A water main break has partially flooded the intersection of Central Avenue and 15th Street.
The southbound lanes of 15th Street just north of the intersection have been closed to traffic.
Public Works Director Brett Daniel described the situation as a “huge break.” He said he expected crews would work throughout the night to fix it.
