The long-awaited Eastern Cape ANC provincial elective conference has been postponed, the party announced on Tuesday night. DispatchLIVE (http://www.dispatchlive.co.za) previously reported that the conference, scheduled to take place on Friday, may be interdicted after two law firms wrote separately to party bigwigs, calling on them to get their house in order or run the risk of the gathering being halted by a court.
