HP’s midrange OfficeJet Pro 9025e prints good-looking text and photos at a relatively low cost per page. It's well suited to small offices with moderate copy and print needs.
Tabloid-Size Printing.and Beyond
Gone are the days when wide-format printers were solely the domain of graphics professionals and architects. If your business calls for large-format printing, there are now a number of inkjet printers that will turn out beautiful larger color prints for you. These models can t handle poster-size 24-by-36-inch output (at least, not on one sheet without tiling), but they re right at home with 11-by-17-inch (tabloid or A3) prints, and some can manage 13-by-19-inch (supertabloid) and banner printing. Several wide-format printers now have impressive output quantity ratings as well. So save yourself all those trips to the copy shop and check out our favorite machines for doing wide-format printing right in your home or office.

Part of Epson’s 2020 refresh of its WorkForce Pro line of multifunction (print, copy, scan, and fax) printers, the WorkForce Pro WF-4820 All-in-One Printer ($179.99), is an entry-level to midrange machine designed for use in small offices and home offices. A replacement of 2017’s WF-4720 (an Editors’ Choice recipient), the WF-4820 comes with some notable updates, including a larger touch control panel, faster print speeds, and a higher monthly volume rating. However, it faces a crowded field of capable competitors including its nearest sibling, the WF-4830, which boasts double the paper capacity from two input sources and a bigger, auto-duplexing automatic document feeder (ADF). These valuable time-saving features come at an unbelievable $20 over the WF-4820’s list price. There s nothing wrong with the WF-4820, but anything it can do, the WF-4830 can do better.

Epson’s WorkForce Pro WF-3820 Wireless All-in-One Printer ($149.99), the smallest of the WorkForce Pro line-up, is an entry-level business-oriented multifunction printer (print, copy, scan, and fax) designed primarily for small offices and home offices. It has good features for the price; it prints well and is reasonably fast. Like most lower-end inkjet AIOs, though, this one is a bit expensive to use, as it s not compatible with Epson s EcoTank bulk ink. That s the primary reason it falls just short of earning our Editors’ Choice nod. Otherwise, it’s a fine little AIO and well-suited for printing about 100 to 200 pages per month.
