Murphy will joined by state Health Commissioner Judy Persichilli, communicable disease service medical director Dr. Edward Lifshitz, State Police Superintendent Colonel Pat Callahan and Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo.
Persichilli’s appearance will be her first since quarantining after a member of her staff tested positive for COVID-19.
Murphy has two other items on his public schedule Friday. At 10:15 a.m. he will sign legislation expanding outdoor dining. The governor’s Facebook page will stream the signing.
