  The Katsina State chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has joined the nationwide protests. The protesters are lamenting over attempts by some members of the National Assembly to remove the National Minimum Wage from the exclusive to the concurrent legislative list. NLC Chairman, Hussaini Hamisu ‘Yanduna addresses lawmakers at the State Assembly   Workers led by the state NLC Chairman on Wednesday marched through the major streets of Katsina State from the NLC office down to the State House of Assembly to submit their protest letter to the lawmakers. They are asking them not to support the bill since it will require the concurrence of various State Houses of Assembly.
