romney who recently said he s proud of what he accomplished on health care in massachusetts and supports giving states the power to determine their own health care solutions. he s right. they re hammering that one. if congress approves the plan, states could gain exemption from some controversial elements of the law including the one that says most americans carry health insurance that many employers offer their workers coverage, and that states create insurance marketplaces to help individuals and small businesses buy health plans that meet federal rules. however, house republican leaders say they are committed to repealing the law, not just amending it. that s not likely to appease senators like orrin hatch who recently insulted the law with a little colorful language. every state has different demographi demographics. every state has different problems. it s good to allow them to work out their own problems rather than a one-size-fits-all federal government dumb-ass program.
