down the anti-trump rabbit hole. it s so dark in there and it actually turns into i ve seen this happen to people who work at fox, they become actual stockers. trump is living in their brain and their building an entire condominium. but i ve seen this happen where people get hooked into the stuff. like he should step back and wow, that s the dumbest thing ever. but he so emotionally out of control and trump does that to people. he doesn t have to fans too. people love him but the people that hate him, and you lose sight of their own profession. he looks like an idiot, he looks like an idiot, that shouldn t happen. dana: but they re not taking any just medicine for the sickness, not while pointing out that he s one of the 51 intel
january 6th and to today, but even before that, he was sewing the seeds of mistrust, of distrust, of the elections, just in the off chance from his perspective that joe biden would win. it was a very, very methodical move that he made. and the fact is that what happened here was something that actually should be remembered as a moment in history. and there are are there is another news organization and i use even though i have friends who are true supporters who work at fox. for the most part, particularly evening programing, i think this is one of the days it s important to call out, they are making fun of these remembrances. they are pretending like we are all hysterical in trying to memorialize and capture what happened on that historic horrible violent day here in the capitol and it is reprehensible.
other than fox. with me is brian stelter. it is interesting how they interpreted this. incredible and really disappointing for the people who work at fox who are still reality based, who still want this channel to be, you know, as accurate as possible. there s a difference between confident and conspiratorial. there s a difference between supporting trump s agenda and lavishly, blindly believing whatever he says. but unfortunately that gets lost too often in this coverage on fox. it s as if all nuance is lost and nonsense wins out. we re seeing that vividly this week. there is this echo chamber that s been talked about a lot. the president watching fox, fox being where the president is watching, the president criticizing fox if he doesn t like a poll, which, you know, is lewd close the idea that they re somehow manipulating polls against the president. i ve been talking to dozens of sources inside fox in recent months. a lot of them describe a frustration that the network

is a remarkable thing for these families to be willing to talk to reporters and to have their stories told and to okay their physicians and lawyers to tell their stories to a national audience. if you think about what their families are facing, they re being told get out of the country or we will forcibly deport you, and if you do either of those things, you ll be killing your child. imagine the lengths to which any family would go to avoid facing that, to be ordered to kill their kid, right, and so the fact that these families are such, willing to go public with it rather than immediately going into hiding, and whatever else they could to evade the circumstance is an act of faith that americans, we will fix this problem when we come to know. you and i know people who work at fox, great journalists there and will know this is a real story. i think politically speaking it might only get fixed if our friends at fox choose to talk about this story and highlight some of these families.
