Second warehouse in the works
A nearly 200,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center that will include a parking lot for trailers and trucks will occupy the second parcel of land directly east of Wooster Brush, said Jacob Holdeman, development associate at Indiana-based development firm Scannell Properties. It was originally proposed at a different location, but after review and recommendation from the city, they moved the facility to here, said Andrew Dutton, the city s planning and zoning manager.
After the new proposal was drawn up, the city s planning commission reviewed and approved Holdeman s request for a larger outdoor parking area than what city code allowed at its April 1 meeting.
