Freehouse Taproom closes briefly after employee tests positive
December 20, 2020LITTLETON The Littleton Freehouse Taproom announced a temporary closure last Tuesday after one employee tested positive for COVID. According to a statement released late Wed evening, operations were to resume by week s end.
However, Freehouse representatives stated that dine-in seating would no longer be an option. Menu choices would be available via take-out only. There was no indication when normal operations would resume.
According to a social media statement issued by the restaurant, an outside company was hired to sanitize the restaurant using a vital oxide electrostatic disinfecting system. With a history of use in hospitals, vital oxide is one of more than 500 options approved by the Environmental Protection Agency to combat SARS-CoV-2.
