Summer Road closed today and will be closed until next Friday (March 12). It will close from The Broadway to Wrens Nest Road, from 9.30am till 2.30pm each day. Dudley Council said the closure if to safely facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The diversion is via The Broadway, Lime Pit Lane, Wrens Nest Road and vice versa. For access to properties on: Willow Road, Ivy Road, Woodsorrel Road, Laurel Road (west), Harebell Crescent (west), Marigold Crescent (west) - use Ivy Road, Laurel Road, Foxglove Road, Wrens Nest Road and follow diversion. For access to properties on: Laurel Road (east), Harebell Crescent (east), Marigold Crescent (east) - use Celandine Road and Laurel Road and follow diversion.

Purplebricks, the UK s largest estate agent, said areas near top-rated Ofsted schools are very desirable for buyers at the moment.
It also revealed houses in these areas can add up to £20K to their house prices just because of the good educational opportunities nearby.
