Researchers, scientists and resource managers from both Canada and the United States will come together for the next two days to discuss the state of the Rainy-Lake of the Woods Basin.
It’s the start of the annual International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Forum.
Participants will be meeting virtually.
Todd Sellers, the executive director of the Lake of the Woods Water Sustainability Foundation, says despite not being able to meet face-to-face, the turnout is still strong.
“We got about 200 people registered. It’s new territory having this all zoomed, but we’ve all gotten used to having to work that way in the current environment,” says Sellers.
