Credit Roaring River State Park/Facebook The campgrounds at Roaring River State Park near Cassville, MO are temporarily closed due to damage from flood waters on Wednesday.  The Missouri Department of Natural Resources said they could open back up as early as Sunday. The Missouri Department of Conservation is allowing fishing, although angler access may be restricted in some areas as cleanup continues. The park’s campground and fishing areas were evacuated April 28 after heavy rains caused severe flash flooding on Roaring River and area waterways, according to MDC.  It was the first time that floodwaters reached the park’s office.  There was minimal loss of trout due to recent improvements at the Roaring River Hatchery, it said.
