Answer: It’s been a while since I checked in on Woods Crossing, but now work at the site is under way. For those unfamiliar, Woods Crossing is a multifamily development planned for the formerly wooded lot where Congaree Road becomes Woods Crossing Road near Haywood Mall. Flournoy is developing the project. Caroline Smith, with Flournoy, said construction at the site began on Dec. 1.
