Ray Moss, of Woodford Court, Hindley was given an 18-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court. Moss, 39, pleaded guilty to entering B&M Bargains in Wigan as a trespasser with intent to steal on November 14, 2020. A court sheet said that Moss was given the custodial sentence because of his appalling record of offending and that he caused damage in order to gain access to the premises . Moss must participate in an accredited programme for 270 days and undertake a community sentence programme which includes a drug treatment requirement.
