The $810,000 Breeders Crown for freshman trotting fillies was billed as a face off between Special Way and Righteous Resolve and it certainly lived up to expectations resulting in a track and Canadian record on Friday night (Oct. 28) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Gaines Hanover kicked off the 2022 Breeders Crown championships on Friday night (Oct. 28) at Woodbine Mohawk Park and scored an impressive victory in the $810,000 final for two-year-old trotting colts, giving his driver, Louis-Philippe Roy, and trainer, Richard Moreau, their first Crown victories of their very successful careers.
Woodbine Entertainment and the Hambletonian Society will be hosting a special Breeders Crown press conference and post position draw this evening (Tuesday, Oct. 25) at Country Heritage Park in Milton, Ont.
