For nearly two years, an area family has been fighting to bury their loved one in his final resting place. On Friday, supporters tell FOX 5 there is an update in that battle, which also includes some of the family’s supporters now asking for Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to now investigate.
Harold Reidar Kolrud, age 86, passed away December 3, 2022, following a stroke. He was a resident of Jamestown, ND, from 1969 to 2015, and Wisconsin Rapids, WI, from 2015 until his death.
Sometimes all that’s left of a gravestone is its foundation. In that case, volunteers will begin a search using a ground probe to see if the stone is buried underground nearby or a dowsing rod. “Egads, do they work,” Blanchette noted.
