Magen Atkins, the 30-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this week, has been located and reunited with family, according to an email from the Rochester Police Department sent Thursday night.
Previously, Atkins was last seen leaving a hotel on Wood Lake Drive Southeast on Wednesday, May 12. That same day, some of her belongings were found in Indian Heights Park in Northwest Rochester.
There was concern because she usually has daily contact with family and those she is close with, and it’s been nearly a week since she’s communicated with them, RPD spokeswoman Amanda Grayson said in an email.
